Fibro-Connect TS were gladly shortlisted amongst 20 charities in the whole of the Teesside area to be in with a chance of winning up to £5,000.00. On the 11th June 2025, voting opened and we appealed to all platforms that Fibro-Connect would be their chosen charity due to all of the hard work and dedication the team put in behind closed doors.
After thousands of shares, the voting closed on the 25th June and it was a waiting game. We are always so honoured to be even thought of in these situations but to be amongst only 20 other charities was a huge deal and we were super nervous and highly anticipating the outcome of the votes.
On 2nd July 2025, we were invited along to Middlesbrough Football Club to attend the awards night. Stephen, James and Pauline from Fibro-Connect TS went along to represent the charity. They described it being such an honour to be around individuals who value the community and have the same immense gratitude to be involved in helping other individuals in need.
In the heart-warming ceremony, Fibro-Connect were awarded £1,500!
We are extremely grateful and thankful to have been awarded this prize, Fibro-Connect TS can now restore the minibus and provide service users with stress-free days out as a unified Fibro Family. Without all of your kind donations and votes, we are able to continue supporting individuals within the Teesside area who struggle daily with Fibromyaglia.
