It finally happened! After battling to get charity status, we have finally gotten the desired outcome we have been waiting for.
We have been actively pushing towards getting charity status since 15/02/2022, now that we have achieved this, it means we can do more. But what does more mean? Well, more means that we can apply for more funding which allows us to cover our projects with ease.
With there being more accessible funding opportunities for charities it allows us to be given a bigger play area when it comes to achieving these application processes. Though with this in mind it also allows us to give more opportunities to our service users and future users.
Now with this under our belt we can look forwards without being restricted to a certain number of applications/funding opportunities. The only way is up with our charity from here on out as we look into trying to help more people with the services that we provide.
Big thanks to the effort of Stephen, Pauline, and James to help make this happen. They put in a lot of effort to make this happen along with a few attempts that needed altering. Though at the end of it they achieved it in the end! And with that I can happily say we’re not a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation)!

With that said, all I can say now is that we’re looking forwards for to the future and have some plans we’re looking to achieve. Some in the near future and others in the no quite so distant future.
