To start the week off from last week we’re back with getting the work done to extend out the wall that we took down last week. Though instead of doing this ourselves we found a local company S Andrews Plastering to do the work for us. With putting up new walls to installing new doors and ensuring everything was put into it’s proper place before we could move new furniture or allow our user back in the door. The construction work spanned until almost the end of the week with most of the waiting time being taken up with the plastering or paint drying.
As you can see from above the work was well underway and getting put in place for us to have a better space for our service users. Not only that but the office finally got it’s own real door! Even with a lock for the door.
With this completed we would like to say a big thank you to both The ScrewFix Foundation for making this possible in the first place and a thank you to S Andrews Plastering for coming over and sorting this work out for us before the end of the week. Someone else we would like to thank is Sanderson’s waste removal for taking the waste earlier during this project
