We recently put in for some funding for the ability to take our users out for some trips out to get them out of their shell. Along with to take them out of isolation a little more especially since Covid recently, it would be nice to have our users get out and be comfortable going out again along with bonding together (other service users) and with other people outside. It gives us the chance to get the users out just to give them that little interaction they need to feel better.
Taking them from isolation to being comfortable again with themselves. Putting in for £2,400, we received £2,500 (Thank you.) which allows us to take out 20 members including some from the team as they’re also users.
We want to thank the Tees Valley Community Foundation for helping us when we reach out our hand. This will be incredibly beneficial for our service users both from Hartlepool and Stockton. This is for the next 12 months and we couldn’t be more thankful.
